# Sell at a show with Treasure Hunt

> List your inventory so attendees can find it at the shows you vend, answer card requests, and record your sales with Treasure Hunt.

Treasure Hunt puts your inventory in front of the attendees at every show you vend. Attendees browse your listed cards, and they can also request any card they're looking for, listed or not, which sends the request to every vendor in the room. You answer with one tap, and they come to your table.

Treasure Hunt works on the web at [ontreasure.com](https://ontreasure.com) and in the Treasure Events mobile app. For setting up and using the app, see [Mobile app](https://docs.ontreasure.com/features/mobile-app.md). For the attendee side, see [Find cards with Treasure Hunt](https://docs.ontreasure.com/attendees/treasure-hunt.md).

> [!NOTE]
>
> Treasure Hunt is available at a show once the host has accepted your vendor application. The host can hide card listings or attendee requests at their event.

## List your inventory

Your inventory lives under **My inventory** on your profile. There's no per-show setup: any card you've marked **Listed for sale** is "Visible to attendees at events you vend."

You can add cards a few ways:

* **Add a card** by searching the catalog, then fill in condition, grading, price, and quantity.
* **Scan a card** with the mobile app's camera.
* **Import cards** from a CSV file ("Upload a spreadsheet from TCGCSV, Deckbox, or your own"), from DeckTradr, or from a Ludex binder URL.

To keep a card out of shows, turn off **Listed for sale**. It then shows as **Not for sale** and is "Not shown at events."

If a card isn't in the catalog yet, you can suggest it from **Catalog Requests**. Treasure reviews each suggestion and, once it's added, offers the card back to you to add to your inventory.

### Custom items

Use **Add item** to list something that isn't a catalog card, such as mystery packs, supplies, or made-to-order pieces. Give it a **Price** (leave it blank to show **Ask**), a **Stock** count or **Made to order**, and turn on **Listed for sale**.

## Answer card requests

When an attendee requests a card at a show you're vending, every vendor at the show is notified, including you. Treasure also reminds you of unanswered requests in the days before the show.

Open the event page and select **Requests from attendees**, or open **Requests** in your inventory. Requests are grouped into **Needs response**, **In progress**, **Fulfilled**, and **Passed and closed**.

For each request under **Needs response**, choose:

* **I have it**: tells the attendee you have the card. They get a notification with your table number so they can find you.
* **Pass**: you don't have it. The request moves out of your list.

If you already have a listed copy of the requested card, the request may show **Matched from your inventory**.

If you said **I have it** and then sell the card or can't find it, choose **I no longer have it**. The attendee is told it's no longer available.

### Requests for your custom items

When an attendee asks for one of your custom items, the request goes only to you and is yours automatically. There's no **I have it** step. Record the deal when you make it, or choose **Release** if you can't fill it. The attendee is notified and can ask again.

## Record your sales

Record each deal you make so both you and the buyer have a record of it. Recording a sale also completes the buyer's request.

**1. Start a transaction**

Select **Record transaction** from a request or a card, or **Add Transaction** in the mobile app.

**2. Add the details**

Add what you sold, choose the buyer, enter the **Deal total**, and choose how you were paid, such as Cash, Venmo, Cash App, or Zelle.

**3. Save it**

Save the transaction. Treasure confirms with **Sale recorded**, and the buyer is asked to confirm it.

If a buyer records a purchase from you first, it appears as a suggested transaction for you to **Confirm**, **Edit**, or mark **Didn't happen**.

> [!NOTE]
>
> Treasure doesn't process payment for these deals, and doesn't charge a fee on them. The buyer pays you directly, and the transaction records what changed hands.

## After the show

When a show ends, any deals you haven't closed out appear under **Action needed** in your inventory, for example **Close out** the event. Open it to **Record transaction** for each deal you made, or mark it **Didn't happen**. Treasure sends reminders to record your transactions during the show and for a few days after it.

## Get paid in person

You can also add your Venmo and Cash App accounts to your profile under **Payment accounts** (see [Account setup](https://docs.ontreasure.com/account-setup.md#set-up-your-profile)). A **Pay Now** button then appears on your public profile, and buyers can use it to pay you and log the payment. These payments show up in the **Sales** section of your [vendor dashboard](https://docs.ontreasure.com/vendors/dashboard.md#sales).
