# Choose how Treasure notifies you

> Pick email, SMS, or push for sales, applications, messages, Treasure Hunt, and nearby shows, and unsubscribe from marketing emails.

Treasure can tell you about sales, vendor applications, messages, and Treasure Hunt activity by email, SMS, or push notification. You choose which channels you get for each kind of notification.

## Open your notification settings

* **On the web**: open your profile and select **Notifications**. You can also click the bell in the site header and choose **Notification settings**.
* **In the app**: go to the **Profile** tab and tap **Notifications**.

Both show the same settings. Turn a channel on or off for each notification, then click **Save Settings** on the web.

## What you can be notified about

Not every notification is available on every channel. Unavailable channels are shown but can't be turned on.

### Vendor

| Notification | What it covers | Email | SMS | Push |

| **Application Updates** | Changes to your vendor applications, such as being accepted | Yes | No | No |
| **Nearby Events** | When tables open at shows near you. Sent Mondays. | No | No | Yes |

**Application Updates** can only be turned off for email. Treasure still texts you about application updates, such as being accepted, invoices for your tables, and payment problems.

For **Nearby Events**, choose how far away to hear about shows: 25, 50, 100, or 250 miles. The default is 50 miles. Treasure uses your approximate location, so the setting works once you've browsed Treasure from your area.

## Turn on push notifications

Push notifications come through the [Treasure Events app](https://docs.ontreasure.com/features/mobile-app.md). If push is off for the app, the app shows a banner asking you to turn it on. Tap it, or turn on notifications for Treasure Events in your phone's settings.

## Unsubscribe from emails

Every marketing email and host blast includes an unsubscribe link. From there you can unsubscribe from:

* Emails about that event
* That host's emails
* Treasure marketing emails
* All emails

>
> If you're a vendor at an event, you still get blasts the host sends to vendors about your table, even after unsubscribing from that host's emails.
