# Use the Treasure mobile app for day-of check-in

> Scan attendee ticket QR codes, mark vendors as arrived, and log cash sales on event day using the Treasure mobile app for iOS and Android.

The Treasure mobile app is built for day-of event operations. Use it to scan attendee ticket QR codes, mark vendors as checked in when they arrive to set up, and record cash payments collected at the door — all from your phone. The app works on both iOS and Android and uses the same Treasure account you use on the web.

## Who can use the mobile app

Anyone assigned one of the following roles on your event can log in and use the mobile app:

* **Host**
* **Cohost**
* **Staff**
* **Scanner**

The Scanner role is designed specifically for volunteers and day-of staff who only need check-in access and should not have access to the full event dashboard.

<Tip>
  Add your volunteers as Scanners on the event so they can check in guests without seeing your revenue data, vendor information, or event settings. See [Team Management](/hosts/team) for instructions on adding team members.
</Tip>

## Logging in

Download the Treasure app from the App Store or Google Play. Sign in with the same email and password you use at ontreasure.com. Once logged in, select the event you want to manage from the event list.

## Checking in attendees

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open the scanner">
    From the event home screen in the app, tap the **Scan** button. Your device's camera will activate.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Scan the ticket QR code">
    Point the camera at the attendee's ticket QR code — either on their phone or printed. The app reads the code automatically without requiring a manual tap.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Confirm check-in">
    The app displays the attendee's name and ticket type. A green confirmation means the ticket is valid and the attendee is now checked in. A red indicator means the ticket has already been scanned, is invalid, or belongs to a different event.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Checking in vendors

On event day, vendors arrive to set up their tables before the event opens. To mark a vendor as checked in:

1. Open the **Vendors** tab in the app.
2. Find the vendor by name or scroll through the list.
3. Tap the vendor's entry and select **Check In**.

This records their arrival time and updates their status in the vendor dashboard visible to the Host and Cohost.

## Recording cash payments

If you accept cash payments at the door for tickets or vendor tables, you can record them directly in the app so your revenue data stays accurate:

1. Open the **Cash Sales** section from the event home screen.
2. Select the ticket type or table option being paid for.
3. Enter the quantity and confirm. Treasure logs the transaction against the event.

<Note>
  Cash payment records are for tracking purposes only. They are reflected in your event's revenue totals but are not processed through Stripe.
</Note>

## Availability

The Treasure mobile app is available on **iOS** (App Store) and **Android** (Google Play). The mobile check-in app is included on all plans — Basic, Starter, and Pro.
