# Change how you sign in and merge accounts

> Add or change the phone number and email you sign in to Treasure with, and merge two Treasure accounts into one.

Treasure signs you in with a one-time code sent to your phone or email, so there's no password to manage. This page covers changing the phone number or email on your account and combining two accounts into one. ## Change how you sign in

To add or change your phone number or email, open **Edit profile** and scroll to **Login & security**.

**1. Choose phone or email**

Select **Add** or **Edit** next to **Phone number** or **Email address**.

**2. Enter the new one**

Enter the new phone number or email.

**3. Verify it**

Enter the code Treasure sends to confirm it's yours.

If that phone number or email already belongs to another Treasure account, Treasure tells you it's **Already on another account** and offers to merge them.

## Merge two accounts

If you've ended up with two accounts, for example one from your phone and one from your email, you can combine them. Everything from the other account moves to the one you keep.

**1. Open Merge accounts**

On your profile, open **Merge accounts**.

**2. Find your other account**

Under **Find your other account**, enter the other account's phone number or email and select **Send verification code**.

**3. Verify ownership**

Enter the code sent to that phone or email.

**4. Choose which account to keep**

Treasure shows both accounts side by side. Choose which phone number or email you'll sign in with, then select **Keep this account** on the one you want to keep. Review the summary and confirm.

> Merging can't be undone. The account you don't keep is deleted. If you keep the other account, you're signed out and need to sign in again.

If Treasure can't merge the two accounts automatically, it says **Can't merge into this account**. Contact support, and the team will merge them for you.
